The 36-year-old singer confirmed over the weekend that she is taking an extended break from music after her Las Vegas residency ends.

Fans speculated that Adele was taking time off from her career to marry her fiancé Rich Paul. She confirmed her engagement to the 42-year-old sports agent at her first show in Munich last month.

In December 2023, Adele told The Hollywood Reporter that making new music wasn’t on his radar.
“I'm nervous about ruining my voice (at the residency). There's a lot of singing. It's two hours long. It's all live. It's a lot,” she said. “And I do a lot of nonsense and I do stupid things. But yeah, I don't have anything to say right now. I haven't even thought about it.”
