An animal attacked an elderly man with a baseball bat during a fight over a parking space in Queens on Wednesday evening, police sources said.
Michael Magill, 51, confronted a 72-year-old man over parking at the residential corner of Austin Street and 77th Avenue in Forest Hills around 6:50 p.m., authorities and sources said.
According to sources, the fight turned violent when Magill hit Senior over the head with a bat.
The elderly man was treated at the scene for head injuries and was reported to be in stable condition, police and sources said.
Magill, who lives a few blocks from the scene of the altercation, was arrested at the scene and charged with assault on a victim 65 or older — a felony, police said.
