Catherine, Princess of Wales has been pictured out and about with her husband Prince William after apologising for editing her Mother’s Day post.
The royal, who is recovering from abdominal surgery in January, was seen in the back seat of a car departing Windsor Castle.

William was seen gazing down at his phone while Kate was looking out the other window.
The Prince of Wales was on his way to the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey, however Kate did not attend the event.
Instead, the Princess of Wales attended a private appointment in London, according to The Sun.
The princess is not expected to resume royal duties until after Easter.
She was last spotted on official duty on Christmas Day, attending mass with the extended royal family.
The public appearance comes hours after Kate apologised on Instagram for her “experiment with editing” in a Mother’s Day post from Monday.
Hours after the image was released to the public, it was removed by photo agencies and a “kill notice” was issued to publications.
The photo of Kate in a chair surrounded by her three children George, Charlotte and Louis, was credited to William, and was said to have been taken earlier in the week in Windsor.
“Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months,” Kate said on social media. “Wishing everyone a Happy Mother’s Day.”
The Associated Press and other news agencies initially published the photo, which was issued by Kensington Palace.
However, the image was later removed by the agencies because, on closer inspection, it appeared the source had manipulated the image, as revealed by an inconsistency in the alignment of Princess Charlotte’s left hand.
In a statement on Monday, Kate wrote: “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing.
“I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused.
“I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day.”
The message was signed off by Kate herself with a “C”.
It was the first official photo of Kate since her abdominal surgery almost two months ago and followed weeks of speculation about her whereabouts.
The British royal family has been under more scrutiny than usual in recent weeks, because neither the Princess of Wales nor King Charles III can carry out their usual public duties due to health problems.
Kate underwent surgery on January 16 and her condition and the reason for the surgery have not been revealed, though Kensington Palace, Prince William and Kate’s office said it was not cancer-related.
