Emma McKeon has shared a sweet tribute to her boyfriend, fellow swimmer and musician Cody Simpson, on his 27th birthday.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, McKeon posted a series of behind-the-scenes snaps of her life with Simpson, plus some sweet videos showing him goofing off for the camera.

“Happy birthday @codysimpson ❤️,” she wrote.
“Always making me smile, always making me laugh.
“Swipe for Cody bts (behind the scenes).”
One photo shows the pair lying down while Simpson pulls a face as he holds his guitar.
Several others show Simpson doing something he appears to love — cooking in the kitchen.
McKeon also posted a couple of videos — one hilariously showing Simpson missing absolutely everything except the gutter during a ten-pin bowling effort.
In another, he sings along to a favourite tune whilst doing some mock drumming.
And in a third, he rolls his eyes up into his head after taking a too-hot bite of his meal.
First to comment on the post was Simpson himself, dropping nine heart-eye emojis.
Fans loved seeing the goofy side of Simpson, who clearly enjoys making McKeon giggle.
“You guys,” one follower wrote, while many others wished Simpson the happiest of birthdays.
“You guys look so amazing together,” wrote another.
“Enjoy your day Cody, happy birthday to you!” said one.
“I hope you get to feast on your favourite things,” said another, noting Simpson’s love of cooking (and eating).
The couple look as united as ever as they work toward their dream goal of competing in the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Both Simpson and McKeon are yet to officially qualify, as the trials are not held until June.
But Simpson has reached the qualifying standard, and is determined to make selection for the event.
The singer put his music career on hold to return to the pool in 2020, making the 100m butterfly final at the 2021 Olympic trials but missing a spot on Australia’s Games team.
He then won Commonwealth Games gold and silver medals for heat swims in the 4x100m freestyle and 4x100m medley relays in Birmingham last year.
As for McKeon, at the end of 2023 she was nursing a “minor tear under her armpit”, according to her coach Michael Bohl.
Her advice then was not to rush back into competition — not the best news to receive ahead of the Paris Olympics.
Olympic trials will take place from June 10, some five weeks before the 2024 Games begin.
McKeon won four golds at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, and seven medals in total.
It was the most by any female swimmer at a single Olympic Games and the joint-most medals across any sport with Soviet gymnast Maris Gorokhovskaya, who achieved the feat in 1952.
