British-born Simon Charles Dorante-Day, 58, has made headlines around the world over his unproven claims that he is the illegitimate child of Charles and Camilla.
Mr. Dorante-Day was born on April 5, 1966, in Portsmouth, England, and was adopted at the age of eight months. He has long claimed that his adoptive grandmother, who worked for the late Queen Elizabeth II, told him on her deathbed that he was the son of Charles and Camilla.
The 58-year-old man, who lives in Queensland, claims that nine months before his birth, 17-year-old Charles was sent to Australia to study and 18-year-old Camilla disappeared from the public eye.
A month before the king and queen’s arrival in Australia, Mr Dorante-Day shared a post on Facebook in which he challenged the royals to a “four-way paternity test”.
He shared an image of the king and his two sons, Princes William and Harry, and himself, pointing out the lack of “consistency” between the princes’ facial features and those of their father, in contrast to their “similar” features.
“The fact that the left side of my face matches Charles’s while neither William nor Harry’s does, raises the obvious question of who are Charles’ real sons?” Mr. Dorante-Day wrote.
He said that paternity testing was “the only way to resolve this issue once and for all”.
The Knightly does not indicate that there is any truth behind its claims.
Indeed, there is no evidence that his adoptive grandmother ever worked for the royal family (all royal employees receive awards for their service, records of them do not exist). Furthermore, photographs of Camilla at social events in 1965 do not show any signs of pregnancy.
It is believed that Charles and Camilla first met in 1970 during a polo match at Windsor Great Park. Mr Dorante-Day has denied these claims, saying there are differing reports about their ages when they met.
In the lead up to the royal visit – the first by a reigning monarch since 2011 – Mr Dorante-Day has re-shared a lengthy interview he did with Seven News in 2023, in which he explained his plight to prove That he is the son of the king. , This is one of his many media appearances in which he explains why he believes he is the eldest son of the Emperor.
He has also said that his nine children have the same qualities as Prince William and Kate’s children.
Mr Dorante-Day has said he is committed to taking legal action in an attempt to force King to take a paternity test. He says his efforts to “stop” him only get stronger. [his] Reason” and a determination to continue.
She claims that when he was born, Camilla hid him with the help of the royal family and officials and kept him until he was eight months old. He says he was given the name Simon Charles as a condition of his adoption.
