Welcome to August! As usual, Netflix added nearly 100 titles on or off the air in the United States on the first of the month. Below, we provide you with a full list of new movies and series added to Netflix US last week. Take a look at what's trending in Netflix's top 10.

About 60 movies and series were removed from Netflix yesterday, including miniseries 30 for 30-OJ: Made in Americaplus movies like Conan the Barbarian, the great WallAnd Theory of Everything,

There are a few new series added today, including one of our top picks for the month of August: A Good Girl's Guide to Killingwhich has been receiving lots of good reviews from the American press following its premiere in the UK over the last few months.

However, we wanted to be in the spotlight Fire Country The show’s first season drops on Netflix today, as we first reported last month.

Godzilla Minus One/Minus Color (2023)

As we previously reported, Netflix got a black-and-white version of Godzilla Minus One, which might be an understatement, as it's a complete revamp of the original film (which came out in June), giving it a completely different vibe and making it much scarier than the original cut.

For those who haven't seen it, Godzilla Minus One is the latest Japanese version of the famous monster movie.

Love, Charlie: The rise and fall of chef Charlie Trotter (2021)

Rounding out our four selections, we come up with a documentary that will undoubtedly remain out of the public eye, but we want to put it in the spotlight here.

This documentary is based on the life of the famous American chef and restaurateur, best known for his flagship restaurant Charlie Trotter's located in Chicago. It is an inspirational and cautionary documentary about the life of the late chef.

Rebel Moon: Director's Cut

Following the PG-13 versions of Zack Snyder's ambitious new sci-fi action franchise for Netflix that released over the last few months, you'll now be able to get the “true vision” of the films with extended R-rated director's cuts.

Now, personally, I've watched about half of both movies (that's a huge task), and honestly, I don't dislike them. They're not great, but they're pretty serviceable and, if you ask me, they're better than those movies. Star Wars Disney trilogy (no high standards, I know). You won't find too many reviews, though, as most of the critics that have been published are from highly selective outlets and YouTube channels, so expect more discussion over the weekend.
