Welcome to your weekend roundup of everything new on Netflix over the past seven days and what’s trending in Netflix’s top 10! There were 30 new releases this week, so let’s see everything now!
Looking ahead to the weekend, there will be some titles to look forward to. On Sunday, we’ll see the release of multiple seasons of an Australian documentary series asking marginalized groups the questions they’re usually too afraid to ask. Additionally, the first season of the classic soccer anime series Captain Tsubasa will be paired with a new Christmas-themed doc on British group Wham! on Sunday! Topic Wham! last xmas open,

“A bright, powerful thriller with a strong PG-13 punch. Another addition to the “Die Hard on a…” subgenre, one that doesn’t have the staying power or charm to match John McClane, but will have enough satisfaction with Egerton and Bateman to win over the hearts of the Netflix faithful.

Making its streaming debut on Netflix following its summer theatrical release is the romantic comedy directed by Blake Lively. It earned its spot on Google’s most searched movies of 2024 this week and has had a bit of a slow start in Netflix’s top 10 so far.
The film, which has grossed over $350 million at the box office, focuses on a woman who moves to Boston and seems to get her life back on track after falling into an affair with a neurosurgeon. Things change when he exhibits behavior that reminds her of her traumatic childhood and things escalate from there. Critics were not very enthusiastic about the film, but as shown by the box office, it became a complete hit with the audiences.
