The latest Midtown space to join the fun-tenant party is Global Holdings’ Art Deco-style 99 Park Avenue at East 40th Street.
The firm’s $30 million investment will bring the 1950s-era property a redesigned lobby and tenant amenities package, including an “intimate speakeasy, an entertainment lounge, bowling alley and golf simulator.”
The upgrade will be finished in early 2026.
“The transformational capital improvement program is already attracting and retaining leading companies that are seeking modern office spaces that foster innovation and collaboration,” said Craig Panzirer, Senior VP, Global Holdings.
Recent transactions at 99 Park include a renovation and expansion by Metropolitan Commercial Bank, which has increased its footprint to approximately 82,000 square feet.
Approximately 180,000 square feet of offices are available on the 600,000 square foot property.
JLL’s Paul Glickman, who represented the bank, said Global Holdings — which owns hotels including the Mondrian at NoMad — is leaning heavily on its hospitality experience “to create an environment where companies can engage their workforce.” You can streamline your operations by taking advantage of the facilities while maintaining. engaged.”
