Her name may be Daisy, but she’s no wallflower.
The 2025 NYPD “Canines & Friends” calendar has arrived and May’s cover girl is one of the department’s newest bloodhounds.
Taylor Kahn, director of development and events for the New York City Police Foundation, said of the book’s ninth edition, “Daisy helps her police officer colleagues with explosives detection, firearms detection, search and rescue and missing persons. “
Several dogs in the calendar are named after fallen cops, including K-9 Diller, named for Detective Jonathan Diller, who was killed by a criminal during a car stop in March.
Sales of the $35 calendars brought in about $60,000 last year, which was used to fund programs like CrimeStoppers.
