The 52-year-old royal lost her balance for a moment.

The Danish royal communications department assured the outlet no one was injured.

The outlet reported the unnamed scooter rider had said: “I do not know what happened.”

Following the incident, the family attended the official Naalakkersuisut dinner where Frederik gave a speech about the special relationship between Greenland and Denmark.

“Can you lose your heart for a people and a country? Yes, I can confirm that,” he said.

“Greenland has a very special meaning for my family and for me. Therefore, Queen Mary and I are incredibly happy to be here.”

Mary and her family were in Greenland, where Denmark has its northernmost military base, from June 29 to July 6.
