Reese Witherspoon and her look-a-like daughter Ava Phillippe reminded fans of the strong Witherspoon genes, leaving social media seeing double.
Attending the Critic Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Monday, the outing comes a week after the actress took her oldest son Deacon Phillippe, 20, to the Golden Globe Awards.
Witherspoon and her 24-year-old daughter posed side by side on the carpet with the actress stunning in a floor-length strapless gown, while Phillippe wore a black sparked mini dress and tights.

Witherspoon shares both Ava and Deacon with her ex-husband, actor Ryan Phillippe, from whom she filed for divorce in 2008.
The exes have remained close, with the family appearing together on social media in 2023.
Ahead of the Critic Choice Awards, Witherspoon shared a photo of the mother-daughter duo to Instagram writing, “mother-daughter date night”.
Fans were quick to react to their similarities.
“Stunning mamma and daughter – you look like sisters 💖💖,” one comment said.
“Holy, they look like sisters,” a second said.
“Reese Witherspoon’s daughter is literally her twin,” added another.
The reaction was similar to the response to Deacon’s appearance with viewers also seeing the similarities in her son.
Commenting on a post of Witherspoon’s from the Golden Globes, one said, “Your son looks just like you … identical”.
“That boy stole your whole face 😂🥰,” a comment said.
“You and your kids all look identical,” a user added.
Witherspoon also has a younger son, Tennessee, 11, with her ex-husband Jim Toth.
The former couple confirmed they were divorcing after 12 years of marriage in a joint statement on March 24, 2023.
When they announced their split, the duo said their “biggest priority” was their family.
“It is with a great deal and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce,” Witherspoon wrote in the statement posted to Instagram.
“We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together.
“Our biggest priority is our son and our entire family as we navigate this next chapter. These matters are never easy and are extremely personal.
“We truly appreciate everyone’s respect for our family’s privacy at this time.”
