Fans will be desperate to see this.
The hilariously scary domestic setting of “Beetlejuice,” where Michael Keaton’s terrifying alter ego went unchecked in 1988, is now open to the public.
airbnb is running integrated tours Head to Hillsboro, New Jersey – just west of Rutgers University – to explore the one-time home of Catherine O’Hara, the late artist Delia Dietz.
The three-hour trip can be booked for up to six guests each day through November 4 and includes a free one-night stay in Princeton, NJ. A-listers like Charli D’Amelio, Jessie J and Lauren Wilson have already visited.
Upon arrival, Delia’s “(later) lifelong assistant will take you inside. Feel free to wander around and bask in the glory of Delia’s ingenuity and exquisite artwork. According to Airbnb, you never know what you’ll find.
“If you choose to wander around the attic, at least admire Maitland’s model of Winter River. Even Delia has to admit it’s impressive (though a little dull).”
And for those brave enough to say Beetlejuice three times, “Don’t be surprised if some really weird things happen.”
When that irreversible rhythm is complete – we won’t write the names a third time – guests will find themselves drawn towards the green light towards the waiting room with the recently deceased.
“Once you pass the waiting room, you will find yourself in a disorienting hallway. Peek through the keyholes, but don’t open any doors unless you want to get eaten by sandworms or end up in the demon’s favorite haunt, Dante’s Inferno.
Following the haunted haunt, there will also be an art class – arranged by Delia herself – “where you will unleash your collective fears” inside her living room.
Airbnb says overnight stays are no longer possible due to “some recent… ‘spiritual difficulties’.” Sequel starring Jenna Ortega “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” hits theaters.
