Since then, she has been upfront about the pressures women face to shed their baby weight.
“My intention last January was to enjoy the journey back to fitness and feeling strong,” she said in her latest Instagram post on Thursday.
“It feels amazing to be here, a year later, having had so much fun with the love and support of my friends, family, trainers and the beautiful TXO community,” Hall said of her fitness community.
“It really is about the journey, not the destination.”
She went on to share with followers what ]her “secret” has been.
“My secret was not focusing on the scales but rather aiming for non-scale victories — running my first KM, keeping up with my kids at the park, learning to squat again after my knee procedure, fitting into an old pair of jeans.
“Thank you for all your lovely messages of motivation and support throughout the year.
“It really kept me going. Looking forward to an epic 2024.”
Followers shared messages of praise or the fitness trainer.
“You are so inspiring Tiff! It’s so wonderful to follow your journey. As a mother myself, my own fitness journey has been up and down but your honest and real posts always make me more determined!” one said.
“Thank you for sharing! Your smile is huge and your body looks so strong — amazing effort!”
“You look amazing! What a transformation and inspiration to mums ❤️,” another said.
Yet another fan commented: “Major inspiration.”
Hall has previously spoken about the pressures women place on themselves to “bounce back” to their pre-pregnancy and birth physique.
“The term ‘bouncing back’ really didn’t resonate with me. It is outdated, unrealistic and, to be honest, offensive,” she told Kidspot in August 2022.
“I am blessed to have children; my body HAS changed, and it will never ‘bounce back’ to what it was like prior to my pregnancies and that should be embraced, not questioned.”
Instead of bouncing backwards, the fitness guru encourages other mothers to “bounce forward” to discover a new version of being fit.
She said new mothers need to be kind to themselves and short-circuit negative thoughts.
In an emotional video posted to Instagram last year, Hall addressed the time it can take for the body to heal after birth.
“It’s not easy. It’s not easy to bounce forward and take the pressure off,” she said.
“I stand in front of my mirror, looking at my new body with my big bump, Vada’s house, and it’s really hard to accept that it’s going to take time.
“But it is going to take time. Healing takes time.
“It depends what (kind of) birth you had, too.
“I’ve got a few stitches and stuff going on and it’s all a bit painful.
“But she’s absolutely beautiful.
“She’s worth it.”
