President-elect Donald Trump rebukes convicted murderer and former stripper Crystal Mangum To lie About being raped by a trio of Duke lacrosse players, saying it “ruined” their lives.

She admitted publicly for the first time Thursday that she fabricated the explosive 2006 story that Duke students David Evans, Colin Finnerty and Reed Seligman raped her while the exotic dancer was performing at a team party because she “She wanted validation not from God but from people.”
“I committed perjury against him by saying he raped me when he didn’t and that was wrong,” Mangum, 46, told independent outlet Let’s Talk With Kat.

All three players were found innocent and the charges were dismissed in April 2007.
Mangum cannot be legally punished for lying, because the statute of limitations for perjury in North Carolina is two years.
