Two people were slashed at a Manhattan school Tuesday afternoon, cops said.
The victims, both males, were knifed — one of them in the head and the other in the chest — during the 1:20 p.m. fracas that unfolded at the school building on West 49th Street near 10th Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen, police said.
Both wounded victims were hospitalized and taken into custody, police said.
Cops were unable to immediately confirm their ages or whether they are students.
It was unclear what set off the violence or how exactly the clash unfolded.
Police could also not immediately say exactly whether the violence broke out inside or outside of the building.
The building is home to a few different schools, including the Stephen T. Mather Building Arts & Craftsmanship High School, Urban Assembly Gateway School for Technology and Success Academy Charter School – Midtown West Middle School.
