‘Uber Eats roulette’ turns food delivery into a wild viral game: ‘I’d have anxiety’


This food trend hit the jackpot.

A new viral game has arrived on TikTok — but the mess it creates is a gamble for everyone involved.

Groups of friends are playing “Uber Eats roulette”, in which each person orders a specific dollar worth of food and doesn’t tell anyone what they ordered until they arrive.

The trick of the game is that, because no one knows what other people have ordered, repeat orders from the same restaurant are likely.

“Everyone spends $30 to $40 and orders enough food for two to three people. We all order at the same time and put down our phones. We do not discuss or disclose what you order. Can we finish with eight pizzas? Sure, we could. But that’s part of the fun,” One user explained,

“This trend is very foolish. I’m sorry, but Uber Eats prices are so high, you get two small items for $40 plus tip. “This is like money spent by a really nice restaurant on littering,” one person criticized.
