A forgotten historical biopic starring Johnny Depp, two seasons of a great wrestling drama, and a new science-fiction film starring Joey King and Chase Stokes – here's a list of all the movies coming and leaving Netflix in the United States over the next seven days.

The most anticipated new releases on Netflix this week
black mass (2015)
Coming to Netflix: Thursday
Johnny Depp films are always a hit when they arrive on Netflix, and this week, we'll see Black Mass on the US service for the first time. Depp plays James 'Whitey' Bulger, the brother of a state senator who became infamous for being one of the most violent criminals in South Boston history. The cast includes Joel Edgerton, Dakota Johnson, Julianne Nicholson and Kevin Bacon.
The film received mostly positive reviews from critics and remains well received by audiences today. Chris Hewitt, for Empire Magazine It was well reviewed in November 2015: “Compelling and powerfully acted, with just enough wrinkles to escape the ghosts of gangster movies past.”
The Ugly (2024) Netflix Original
Coming to Netflix: Friday
Champion McG returns, having worked on a number of Netflix Original films over the past few years (including the babysitter, Rim of the WorldAnd Family Switch), are back with their latest film. The film brings together several other Netflix stars – Joey King, Chase Stokes, Keith Powers, Brian Tju and Laverne Cox – for the sci-fi adaptation of Scott Westfeldt's excellent novel.

“In a futuristic world where cosmetic surgery is mandatory at age 16, Tally is eager to join the rest of society. But when a friend runs away, Tally embarks on a journey to save her that shatters all her expectations.”
Heel (Seasons 1-2)
Coming to Netflix: Saturday
Netflix's 2024 licensing bonanza continues, with the first big Starz series coming to Netflix next weekend. Sadly, coming to Netflix after the recent cancellation has put expectations on hold and there's little chance that if this show fails, Netflix could step in and renew it for future entries.
Starring Stephen Amell, Alexander Ludwig and Kelli Berglund, the film is set in a small Georgia town where a family-run wrestling promotion is beset by conflicts both inside and outside the ring, threatening its very existence.
