Piccadilly Distilleries’ Indri Drew, launched in the US market last November, has been crowned ‘Whisky of the Year’ at the USA Spirit Rating Awards 2024. It has also achieved several other titles, such as ‘Single Malt Whiskey of the Year’ and ‘Spirit of the Year by Country’, and earned the coveted ‘Gold Medal’ with 95 points. The spirit has rich aromas of dried fruit, vanilla and oak, a hint of spice and prominent notes of dried fruit, vanilla, oak and dark chocolate on the palate. Given that it has an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 57.2 percent, it is currently not available in India, but found in the USA, Canada, UAE, Germany, UK, Belgium, Switzerland, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand May go. 3. Ardbeg Traigh Bhan 19 years old
The 19-year-old Ardbeg Traigh Bhan adopts the distillery’s trademark heavily peated style, developing notes of honey, vanilla, tropical fruit and smoke on the palate, and on the finish, toasted oak, dark chocolate and a touch of citrus zest.
