A number of movies will be leaving the Netflix library by the end of August, and we've compiled a list of 15 great movies we think you should watch before they're gone.
Here, you can find our running list of all the movies and series departing the streamer in September 2024. We've compiled a list for you of all the remaining titles departing in August 2024.
As a quick note, we list titles for the actual day of removal. If you want to watch any of the movies, your last full day to watch will be July 31st.
Spider-Man Movie Collection (2002-2014)

The Sony Spider-Man films have been regularly seen on Netflix, and this isn't the first time that the Spider-Man movie collection has been out of the streaming service. Losing five films from a beloved franchise is a big loss for Netflix. However, we think it won't be long before the Spider-Man movies return to the platform.
American Hustle (2013)

it took several years American Hustle Set to arrive on Netflix in 2023, the film was available for five months before being removed from the library. It was recently re-added to the library, but is being removed after only two months. David O'Russell's crime drama featured a star-studded cast including Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Jennifer Lawrence.

Despite some controversies that arose many years after the incident Weak sidesMichael Oher and Leigh Anne Tuohy's adaptation of the story is still nothing short of incredible. Sandra Bullock's performance as Leigh Anne was rewarded with a well-deserved Academy Award for Best Actress.
Burn After Reading (2008)

It took about five years, but in June 2024, burn After Reading is back on Netflix. Sadly, after just three full months on the platform, Ethan and Joel Coen's hilarious crime comedy is heading off Netflix again. Another film that boasts an incredible ensemble cast, Burn After Reading stars George Clooney, Frances McDormand, Brad Pitt, John Malkovich, Tilda Swinton, Richard Jenkins, and JK Simmons.

Another movie that was recently added to Netflix is The Conjuring Universe In the seventh entry, Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson return as paranormal investigators Lorraine and Ed Warren. James Wan's horror franchise is one of the highest-grossing films in the genre, grossing over $2.1 billion on a total budget that barely exceeded $200 million.
The Edge of Seventeen (2016)

The Edge of Seventeen This is a great coming-of-age drama that has been in and out of the Netflix library multiple times. Hailee Steinfeld is fantastic in her role as Nadine, as she struggles to deal with her best friend loving her popular older brother.
The Equalizer (2014)

Denzel Washington, one of Hollywood's finest actors, was the perfect actor to play Robert McCall, 25 years after Edward Woodward's time as McCall came to an end. Denzel has since starred in two more films in The Equalizer franchise, due to the popularity of the films, which helped pave the way for a reboot of the television series with Queen Latifah.
Netflix is also streaming the third movie until 2025, so if you want to watch The Equalizer, you're short on time.
The Lego Batman Movie (2017)

The first LEGO movie was incredibly successful, so it was no surprise that one of the most beloved and popular superheroes of all time, batmanwill be getting its own LEGO movie.

Jim Carrey dominated the comedy scene between 1994 and 2004. His funniest performance to date is as Fletcher Reed, a compulsive liar who is forced to tell the truth after his son wishes him to tell the truth on his father's birthday. This will be the second time a Jim Carrey comedy has been left out of the Netflix library.
Miami Vice (2006)

Miami Vice was a flop at the box office, but the film became a firm favourite with audiences and has garnered rave reviews in the years since its release. This is a film you should definitely watch before it leaves the Netflix library.
Pineapple Express (2008)

As far as stoner movies go, there are very few that are as wild, random, or fun as Pineapple Express. It's definitely not a movie for everyone, but if you like stoner movies then Pineapple Express is a great movie for you.
