Two former chiefs of the New York City Fire Department were arrested by federal authorities early Monday as part of a corruption investigation, officials and sources said.
According to authorities, Anthony Sacquino and Brian Cordasco, who worked for the FDNY's Bureau of Fire Prevention, were charged with bribery, corruption and making false statements.
The arrests are connected to a long-running investigation in the Southern District of New York, multiple sources told the Post.
