A 47-year-old man was shot and killed inside a Brooklyn subway station Wednesday night, according to police.
The victim was on the mezzanine level of the Rockaway Avenue station on the C Line, near the MetroCard machines, when he was shot in the head just after 11 p.m., police and sources said.
The man was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No arrests have been made.
Officers were still sorting through video surveillance late Wednesday to try to identify the suspect.
The deadly shooting is the latest incident of metro violence in the Big Apple.
