October means the nights are coming in, and thankfully, if you’re a heavy movie watcher like me, Netflix has a great range of movies coming out, and we’re here to help you with everything you need to watch. Have to prepare a list. Next month.
You may notice that we take a non-scary approach to this list (with one or two exceptions), given that we covered some of our Halloween movies separately this past weekend. Additionally, we’ve also listed all of Netflix’s Halloween-flavored offerings separately.
As always, we’ll split our list below into two parts. We’ll be the first to cover our highly anticipated upcoming Netflix Original titles. These will be released globally, meaning no matter where you live, you can check them out on the scheduled release date. Then we’ll focus on some licensed titles going exclusively to Netflix in the United States, although they may or may not be available in other regions.

lady of time (2024)
coming to netflix: 18 October
We were a little slack on not including this on our Halloween list a few days ago, and although it meets the requirements, I wanted to save it for here because it looks like it could be a big hit, Given that we know Netflix users love their true crime. Marking Anna Kendrick’s directorial debut, the film seeks to retell the story of Cheryl Bradshaw, a woman looking for a boyfriend on a dating show during the 1970s, who chooses attractive bachelor Rodney Alcala. lonely planet (2024)
coming to netflix: 11 October
While Netflix’s movie output throughout October focuses primarily on horror and thrillers, they’re slipping into a romance headlined by Laura Dern (an Oscar winner for her supporting role in Netflix’s The Nightmare). marriage story) and Liam Hemsworth ( Netflix’s new Geralt Magician From Season 4 onwards). Directed and written by Susanna Grant, the film follows a writer who takes some time out from her busy life and travels to Morocco, where she begins an exciting love affair. Naturally, we haven’t seen much of this movie yet, and we also have a feeling it’s flying under the radar, but a movie like this comes 100% down to on-screen chemistry, and If the pairing moves forward, it could be ranked among the best of the genre on Netflix.

On the documentary side, this month, Netflix has RJ Cutler’s documentary about a personality who is larger than life. We’re referring to Martha Stewart, who has accomplished many accomplishments during her lifetime, which will be highlighted in this special new docuseries. coming to netflix: 11 October
Netflix has a lot of big changes coming from around the world in the fall of 2024, and one of our most anticipated is RebellionA brand new historical war film that employs some of the top talent from all over South Korea. scarface (1983)
coming to netflix: October 1st
Some true classics often rotate in and out of Netflix, and one of Al Pacino’s defining roles in Scarface fits firmly into that category. The film will now return to Netflix for a fixed period on the first of the month. Often cited in people’s lists of the greatest films of all time, The Godfather is actually the film that tops most people’s minds, and if that’s what you’re being compared to, then you’re in good company. Based in Miami, scarface Before we had Walter White and Tony Soprano, you’re offered a look into the mind of the anti-hero, giving us an insight into how a Cuban immigrant became one of the biggest drug dealers today. It still looks like a billion dollars, and Pacino delivers a career-defining performance alongside Michelle Pfeiffer.
carefree (2020)
coming to netflix: 14 October
When predicting what will be in the top 10, we can always safely assume that an action movie featuring a big movie star like Russell Crowe always has a sure chance to rank well. That should be the case with Unhinged, which looks to be more action-thriller-oriented than Netflix’s BEEF, where it’s about an unstable man becoming increasingly angry at a woman after a relatively innocuous confrontation at a busy intersection. Is. Caren Pistorius and Gabriel Bateman are the other two big hitters in the film, released in 2020, by director Derrick Borte. Most reviews praise Russell’s performance, although he plays an unstable man very well. This film will keep you tense from beginning to end.
girl harasses boy (2024)
coming to netflix: 10 October
There are some really great movies coming out on the first of the month, but we wanted to highlight girl harasses boy Because we’re thrilled to see how it looks on our screens. We don’t have the highest expectations regarding quality. Still, we expect it to be interesting, given that it was initially conceived, developed, and filmed as a two-part special for HBO Max, but now it’s coming to Netflix! Peyton Listby and Michael Cimino headline the project, which tells the story of a boy who befriends the spirit of a 1920s girl living in his new home, forming an unlikely but deep bond over the decades .
kung fu panda 4

If it can be completely believed, it’s been fifteen years since the first Jack Black-led Kung Fu Panda movie hit our screens, and now, after so many years, the fourth installment has somehow arrived and reintroduced the characters. Has managed to keep it fresh. Coming to Netflix after his brief stint on Peacock, the new entry follows Poe as he seeks to find a replacement to become the Dragon Warrior himself after being tapped for a bigger position.
