As Adam Sandler once sang, celebrating Hanukkah is “a lot of fun.”
The menorahs are lit, as we are in the midst of the eight-day Jewish holidays this year.
If you’ve already had lattes and played a round of dreidel, there are still plenty of ways to celebrate.
Here’s a roundup of eight essential Hanukkah TV episodes to watch.
“Friend”
In Season 7, Episode 10, “The One with the Holiday Armadillo,” Ross (David Schwimmer) His son Ben is on vacation and he is concerned that the child does not know much about the Jewish side of his family. Nevertheless, Ross plans to dress up as Santa to cheer her up. But when he is unable to rent a Santa suit closer to Christmas, he wears the armadillo costume. He uses this to get Ben excited about Hanukkah. Eventually it works – but then again, Chandler (Matthew Perry) Appears in a Santa costume, while Joey (Matt LeBlanc) appears as Superman, confusing Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow).

“Rugrats”
The modern-classic episode “A Rugrats Chanukah” from the animated series (season 4, episode 1) weaves all the characters into the real story of Hanukkah, as the children retell the story of the Maccabees as “The Maccabees”.

“high maintenance”
The HBO anthology series features a weed salesman (known only as Guy) interacting with customers of color in New York City. In the ninth episode of season 4, “Soup”, Guy (Ben Sinclair) gets his Shown celebrating Hanukkah with niece. Ilana (Rachel Kelly), after a storm disrupts their vacation plans.

“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”
In the Season 1 episode “My Mom, Greg’s Mom, and Josh’s Sweet Dance Moves”, Rebecca (Rachel Bloom) hangs three Hanukkah banners, writes on it three ways (Hanukkah, Chanukah, and Hanukkah), and mutters, “You Which one is correct?”
Her mother (played by Tovah Feldshuh) arrives and sings “Where’s the Bathroom”, a song criticizing her daughter in the style of a Jewish folk song.

“Dash and Lily”
“Dash and Lily” is a Christmas-themed rom-com series Where teens Lily (Midori Francis) and Dash (Austin Abrams) dare each other while on vacation in Manhattan. In the show’s third episode, “Hanukkah”, Dash sends Lily in search of a secret Hanukkah party in the basement of a Jewish bakery, hosted by teenagers who call themselves the “Challa Back Boys”.

“OC”
In the Season 1 episode “The Best Chrismukkah Ever” Seth (Adam Brody) Introduces Ryan (Ben McKenzie) to the joint holiday of “Chrismuska” that he established for his parents, as his mother is Catholic and his father is Jewish. Seth is also torn between two girls – so who said Hanukkah can’t be full of drama?

“Came”
In the season 6 episode “The Hanukkah Story”, Fran (Fran Drescher) is excited to celebrate her first Hanukkah with Maxwell (Charles Shaughnessy), only he has to go to Boston on business – and her car goes off the road in the snow. The storm goes. Fran is worried, but discovers that the car’s oil lasted eight hours instead of one, just like on Hanukkah.

“The Goldbergs”
In the season 3 episode “A Christmas Story”, after watching the Cramps get into the holiday spirit together, Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) decides to spice up her family’s Jewish traditions and meets Murray (Jeff Garlin). Created “Super Hanukkah”. Explains what Hanukkah is really about.
