“If you have recently placed an order with us,” “Please take a moment to check your package for her ring,” House staff announced on Facebook.
The movie-worthy accident happened just a few days into December, when the team was sending out holiday orders.
The modest home in the heart of Cleveland, used as the filming location of the Parker family’s fictional Hohman, Indiana, residence, has become a year-round tourist attraction.
Lovers of the cult classic film have been known to make a pilgrimage to the Buckeye State to peek at the complex – without the risk of running into Bumpus hounds.
Many others from across the country have purchased the film’s iconic and expensive leg lamp, along with other trinkets from the home’s online store, to celebrate their holidays.
The groom is expected to win the major prize – a weak Sleek black wedding band that’s dark blue on the inside – Many people who purchased items from home replied on the Facebook series that they were seeing prompt delivery of theirs.
However, one man couldn’t pass up the opportunity for the one-liner of a lifetime.
“I don’t think someone else’s wedding band is a very good Christmas gift,” he wrote, describing how Ralphie feels about a good football.
The house said online that the ring has still not been found – oh, the scoundrel again!
