So, folks, if you’re like me, you’ve been glued to your screens, binge-watching the latest season of ‘Aarya.’ And, let me tell you, this season has taken us on a rollercoaster of emotions and suspense. Let’s dive into what’s been happening and what we can expect in the upcoming episodes.
A New Aarya Emerges
In this season, we witness a whole new side of Aarya Sareen. She’s come a long way from the scared mother trying to protect her children. Now, she’s the one in charge, and she’s not afraid to get her hands dirty. From dodging bullets to outsmarting the police, Aarya seems to be thriving in her new role.
The season kicks off with a classic gangster-style introduction. Aarya dons a black satin robe, enjoys a Cuban cigar, and flaunts her intimidation skills by the pool. It’s a refreshing change, and Sushmita Sen breathes life into this character, preventing it from becoming a cliche.
A Simpler Plot
Unlike the previous seasons, the plot is more straightforward this time. Aarya’s is now involved in the drug trade alongside her usual Russian transportation job. To make it happen, she needs to secure the cooperation of the opium field owners in her area. But, of course, it’s never smooth sailing in the world of crime.
New Enemies in the Mix
All of Aarya’s adversaries this season come from a professional sphere, blurring the lines between personal and business matters. Inspector Khan, played by Vikas Kumar, is relentless in his pursuit of Aarya’s for her illegal trade. Nalini Sahiba, portrayed by the indomitable Ila Arun, is always ready with life-threatening ultimatums. And there’s Sooraj, the vengeful husband of Nandini, who was accidentally killed in the previous season by Maya.
Aarya Dilemma
In the final scenes of part one, Aarya finds herself dealing with all three of her adversaries. Sooraj kidnaps Maya and demands Aarya’s help to locate his late wife’s burial site. While we can understand his thirst for revenge, his brutal actions make it hard to sympathize with him.
Aarya’s quick response to rescue her best friend reveals her softer side, which she desperately wants to bury. She still grieves over her son’s deceased lover and is haunted by the thought of pulling the trigger.
The Showdown
Inspector Khan gets wind of Aarya’s rescue mission and is hot on her trail. However, Aarya’s loyal henchmen manage to handle this particular problem, leaving Khan alive. But Sooraj’s fate takes a darker turn. Aarya’s didn’t intend to kill him, and for a moment, it seemed like a truce was possible. However, a half-crazed Veer emerges, ready to exact revenge on Sooraj for killing Roop, the love of his life. Once again, Aarya’s is forced to pull the trigger, and this time, it’s a matter of survival.
Fallout with the Family
Unfortunately, her actions have consequences within her family. Veer resents his mother for not fulfilling her promise to save Roop, while Aaru seems likely to turn on her for shooting Dhruv, who turns out to be Khan’s informant. They have a point – Aarya’s choices prioritize business over their happiness, even though she insists it’s for their sake.
The Clock Is Ticking
As if all these personal challenges weren’t enough, Aarya’s now has to recover a stolen consignment worth Rs 1000 crores for the Russians within a week. Nalini Sahiba is breathing down her neck, and the stakes couldn’t be higher.
What’s Next In Aarya?
The season is already off to an intense start, with Aarya’s getting shot in front of her family. Will she survive this attack? How will she protect her children from Nalini and the Russians? And where is Daulat in all of this? We’ll have to wait for part two of season three, which is expected to release early next year, to find out.
In the meantime, fasten your seatbelts because ‘Aarya’ is taking us on a wild ride that’s bound to keep us at the edge of our seats.
