Brazilian actor Thommy Schiavo has died aged 39 after falling from the balcony of his second-storey Cuiabá apartment.
Mato Grosso Civil Police confirmed the soap opera actor fell from the balcony during the early hours of Saturday morning.
Surveillance camera footage showed the actor, best known for the soap opera Pantanal, standing up after lying on the floor before losing his balance and tipping over his railing.

Schiavo fell 4m and was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the police report, Schiavo was drinking with friends at a convenience store near his home.
The actor’s father Horácio Ramos released a statement about his son to the local outlet, TV Fronteira.
“Tommy was a fantastic person, loved by everyone. I just received a message from Murilo Benício, from (Juliano) Cazarré,” he said.
“The people at Globo are all in shock there. He is a very loved person at Globo. He went there and won over the people, with his simple, humble way. Loved by everyone.”
The actor will be remembered as a cast member of the second season of the Brazilian soap opera Pantanal, which aired on TV Globo in 2021.
In 2006 Schiavo graduated from theatre school in Rio de Janeiro before pursuing a career in acting.
Some of his roles include parts in soap operas Paraíso, Beleza Pura, Além do Tempo and Cordel Encantado.
Schiavo is survived by his wife and daughter.
