Adam Ray will make his Netflix stand-up comedy special debut in November 2024, with the untitled special airing on the streamer globally on November 19, 2024.
A rising star in comedy, Adam Ray is best known for his various characters that mimic real-life celebrities or celebrities or make-up caricatures. One of his most famous is Dr. Phil, based on the talk show host who had his own show on CBS for 21 seasons of 3,505 episodes, which will end in 2023. Ray wears a wig and imitates the host with a Southern Texan accent.
Netflix called the show “a one-of-a-kind comedy show featuring celebrity guests, mob work and outrageous hijinks.”
Actor and comedian known for the roles curb Your Enthusiasm, barbie movie, madtv, hacks, Pam and TommyAnd HeatRay is also a regular on the popular YouTube show Kill Tony. The show recently sold out at Madison Square Garden, with Ray appearing on both nights. On the first night, he played Dr. Phil, and on the second night, he appeared as President Joe Biden as well as Shane Gillis as former President Trump.
Ray was also among the more than 400 artists who performed at Netflix’s most recent event Netflix is a Prank Festivalwhich took over Los Angeles in May 2024, taking over more than 35 venues and offering fans 500 shows. Ray performed as Dr. Phil at The Comedy Store on May 6 and at the Hollywood Palladium on May 11.

Netflix has released an in-app special titled Untitled Adam Ray/Dr. Phil Comedy Special, but we’re told the special may be called Adam Ray Presents: Dr. Phil Unplugged.
