Alleged drunk driver who killed NHL star Johnny Gaudreau appears glassy-eyed in new photo of his brother


The alleged drunk driver who struck Columbus Blue Jackets player Johnny Gaudreau and his brother on the eve of their sister's wedding is seen with glazed eyes in a new photo.

Sean Higgins, 43, of Woodstown has been charged with two counts of car accident causing death in connection with the devastating crash that happened Thursday evening.

Johnny Goudreau, 31, and his brother Matthew, 29, were riding their bikes along County Route 551 in Oldman Township when they were hit about 8 p.m.

Higgins was reportedly trying to pass an SUV when he collided with the cyclists.

The Columbus Blue Jackets confirmed the brothers' shocking deaths in an official statement Friday morning.

The couple were scheduled to serve as groomsmen at his sister Katie's wedding to hockey player Devin Joyce on Friday.
