A first class passenger probably thought he was flying coach when the passenger in front of him leaned his seat on his lap on an American Airlines flight. a picture of A massive space invasion is currently underway On X.
“‘First class.’ Man, he is in my lap.” Fox News Digital reported“You continue to be awesome @AmericanAir.”
The post included a photo of seat 2C tilted so far back that it appeared to hit the passenger’s knees.
“No matter how I positioned myself, the seat was still against my knees,” the passenger told Fox News Digital. “The gentleman sitting in the seat in front of me was very sympathetic, but he was unable to lock the seat forward because it was disabled.”
As well as being uncomfortable, this circumstance reportedly prevented nervous fliers from using or “getting up” on their tray tables. he complained in a follow-up post.
User X, who asked not to be named, said the seat was “obviously broken.” “Get it fixed before someone else wastes their money on first class and it becomes worthless,” he said angrily.
The passenger told Fox News Digital that he alerted the flight attendant about the issue, but they shrugged it off, claiming it was an old airplane and some of the seats were worn out.
To make matters worse, the passenger reportedly paid $500 for a first class upgrade so they could enjoy extra legroom.
Virginia travel expert Gary Leff claimed that something was “definitely wrong” because domestic first class seats, and especially American first class seats on the Airbus A320, are not designed to recline that far.
However, he claimed that recliner failure was unfortunately common on older aircraft, particularly AA’s older Airbus A320.
American Airlines responds to passenger complaint on X. “Keeping our planes in the best shape is always the goal,” He has written. “We regret this inconvenience and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We will turn this over to the maintenance folks for review. We apologize again.”
However, @av_cova wasn’t too happy with his MEA offense, claiming that AA neglected to offer him any benefits or a refund.
