‘American Pickers’ star Mike Wolfe looks somber days after Frank Fritz’s death in new photos



Mike Wolfe was seen in LeClair, Iowa on Thursday, days after the death of his “American Pickers” co-star Frank Fritz.

The 60-year-old antiques and collectibles collector was photographed moving furniture from his white van.

For the outing, Wolfe wore a navy T-shirt with jeans, brown shoes and sunglasses.

On Friday, he will share videos of his Harley Davidson motorcycle on Instagram Story.

Fritz died at the age of 60 On 30 September. A representative of the reality star told tmz That he died from the effects of a stroke he had suffered years earlier. Fritz also had Crohn’s disease for decades, which may have played a role.

The representative told the outlet that Fritz was in a Quad Cities hospice facility and surrounded by friends, including Wolfe, at the time of his death.

“It is with a broken heart that I share with you all that Frank passed away last night,” he wrote.

He further said, “I have [known] Frank for more than half his life and what you’ve seen on TV has always been what I’ve seen, a dreamer who was as sensitive as he was funny. Even off camera, Frank had a way of reaching many people’s hearts just by being himself.”

“Before the show we would go together to places we never knew existed, with no destination in mind and just a shared passion for finding something interesting and historic,” said Wolfe, 60. Miles.”

“I feel blessed to have been with him as he took his last journey home,” the star wrote at the end of his post. I love you friend and will miss you so much, I know you are in a better place.

The two co-hosted “American Pickers” since 2010, and travel across America in search of rare artifacts and treasures to sell in antique shops or add to their personal collections.

The History Channel and “American Pickers” producer Cineflix Productions told The Post in a joint statement Tuesday: “We are sad to announce that our friend and beloved member of The History Channel and American Pickers family, Frank Fritz Died on September 30, 2024. Frank filmed American Pickers for over a decade.

He further added, “We will always remember the ‘bearded hottie’ and his never-ending search for vintage motorcycles and bikes. Our thoughts are with Frank’s loved ones at this difficult time. He will be deeply missed.”

In July 2022, Wolfe shared the news of Fritz’s stroke on Instagram.

“I’ve been very private this past year regarding Franks’ life and his journey,” he captioned his post at the time. “There have been a lot of opinions regarding Frank and I’s friendship and the show but now is not the time to set the record straight. Now it’s time to pray for my friend.”

“Frank has had a stroke and is in the hospital. Please keep him in your hearts and thoughts,” Wolfe added. “Frank, I pray more than anything that you fix this. I love you buddy.”

Fritz stopped appearing on “American Pickers” during season 21 and was later replaced by Wolfe’s brother Rob due to back surgery. And after Fritz had a falling out with Wolff.

“I haven’t talked to Mike in two years,” Fritz told The Sun in a 2021 interview. “They knew I had a bad back, but they didn’t call me and ask how I was. It is like that.”

“The show is tilted towards them [Wolfe] 1,000%. I can’t even bend that low to show you how low you can bend,” Fritz continued. “I think Mike wants to get his brother Robbie in there to take my place,” Fritz further claimed. “I don’t know why he’s acting like that towards me. You can’t just put two people in a van and get the chemistry that we have for almost 40 years.” We can finish each other’s sentences. When everyone is getting along and there is no drama, he and I are great together.

Despite brief tensions, the couple were in a better state before Fritz’s death.
