Amish turn out to vote in Pennsylvania in ‘unprecedented numbers’: sources

Republicans may see an edge A demographic rarely seen in the referendum in Pennsylvania: the Amish.

The state’s famous “Pennsylvania Dutch” registered to vote in “unprecedented numbers” in January in response to a federal raid on a local raw milk farm in Bird in Hand, Pa., a source familiar told The Post.

“That was the impetus for them to say, ‘We need to participate,'” the source said. “It’s about neighbors helping neighbors.”
