Amitabh Bachchan buys a plot worth Rs 14.5 crore
Amitabh Bachchan has purchased a plot in Ayodhya. Spread across 10,000 sq ft, the land is worth Rs 14.5 crore, according to Hindustan Times, and is located in The Sarayu, a 7-star mixed-use enclave by The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL). Reportedly, The Sarayu, spread across 51 acres, will be formally launched on January 22, 2024.
According to Hindustan Times, Amitabh Bachchan plans to build a home on this land which is deemed as “spiritual luxury” by HoABL. The legendary actor’s hometown Allahabad, now known as Prayagraj, is a four-hour drive from Ayodhya.
About buying a plot in the Sarayu, Amitabh Bachchan shared, “I am looking forward to embarking on this journey with The House of Abhinandan Lodha for The Sarayu in Ayodhya, a city that holds a special place in my heart. Amitabh Bachchan owns several multi-crore properties in Mumbai, including Jalsa (valued between Rs 100-120 crore, according to The Financial Express), which is where he currently resides with his family. Last year, according to Times of India, Big B gifted Prateeksha, worth Rs 50 crore and located in Juhu, to his daughter Shweta Bachchan.
