Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance’s Mukesh Ambani is set to wed Radhika Merchant, the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant. While the wedding dates are scheduled for the 12th of July in Mumbai, as per The Economic Times, the pre-wedding festivities are ready to kick off in March in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

The guest list
The three-day pre-wedding celebration will take place from 1st to 3rd March, with a guest list that includes businessmen and global leaders from the field of technology and finance, and that’s not counting the who’s who of Bollywood and film industry.
According to The Economic Times, everyone from Microsoft founder Bill Gates to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, from Disney CEO Bob Iger to Ivanka Trump, from Qatar Premier’s Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani to the king and queen of Bhutan are expected to set foot in the Reliance Greens complex, located in Jamnagar.
The venue
The venue holds a special place for the Ambanis, which is said to have over 10 million trees, among which is Asia’s largest mango orchard. In fact, it is reported that Anant Ambani has even turned this place into a haven for rescued animals.

Just recently, Reliance Foundation shared a video on social media on how the Ambani family has commissioned skilled women artisans from Kachchh & Lalpur, to weave a tapestry and curate special bandhani scarves for the wedding functions.
The big, fat Indian wedding
Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani got engaged in Shrinathji temple in Rajasthan’s Nathdwara in 2022, followed by a ceremony in 2023 at Antilia, their home in Mumbai.
The family recently kicked off the wedding festivities with a ‘Lagan Lakhvanu’ ceremony in Jamnagar, which was an intimate gathering of the Ambani women and the bride-to-be, all decked up in traditional outfits created by designer Anamika Khanna.
