At least five people were shot at a splash pad in Michigan on Saturday evening in an “active shooter situation,” according to local police.
Gunfire erupted at the Brooklands Plaza Splash Pad in Rochester Hills — about 28 miles from downtown Detroit — around 5 p.m.
Stephen Huber, a spokesman for the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, confirmed at least five people were shot, although it’s unclear at this time if anyone was killed.
“We don’t know a lot yet,” Huber told The Detroit News. “It’s five shot and maybe six.”
The victims’ conditions are unknown.
