Earlier this year, Netflix acquired the rights to the Warner Bros. Animation series batwheels In America. Since then, more territories have seen the show air (with more to come), and we’ve confirmed that season 2 will arrive later in October.
For those unaware, Batwheels first started life on HBO Max and is also shown on Cartoon Network. Based on characters from the DC Universe, it combines Batman and Robin with cars, similar to Netflix’s new show mighty monsterwheeliesWhich combines monster trucks with famous villains. Created by Michael G. Stern, the show stars the voices of AJ Hudson, Ethan Hawke, Jacob Bertrand and Jordan Reed.
Netflix is set to pick up all 11 new episodes of season 2 (which premiered on Max in two parts – February and May 2024) in the United States. 28 October 2024It was also recently announced that there are more to come Third season confirmed by Deadline earlier this month.
Season 2 begins with an episode titled Nightbike, where Nightwing’s motorcycle, the Nightbike, initially goes up against BB.
While Netflix US was, initially, the only region for Netflix to pick up the rights to the animated children’s series, we have since seen it slowly coming to Netflix around the world. according to unogsThe series is streaming in at least 29 regions, with places like the United Kingdom, Europe, India, and Asian regions starting to watch it in July, and a few others as recently as late September seeing all 19 episodes.
