“Baywatch” alum Nicolae Eggert speaks out after The death of her co-star Michael Newman, Who died on Sunday at the age of 68.

“Michael ‘Nummy’ Newman was an inspiration to everyone. From his knowledge, skills and willingness to share to his long battle with Parkinson’s disease, he was the epitome of strength,” Eggert, 52, told The Post in a statement Tuesday.

Newman died after an 18-year battle with Parkinson’s disease. His close friend, Matt Felker, who recently directed the Hulu documentary about “Baywatch,” announced his death.

Newman – who was a lifeguard in real life – died “from heart complications” “surrounded by his family and friends” on Sunday evening.

“I last saw Mike when he was conscious and he [at] Mike and I said in typical fashion, ‘You’re right on time,'” Felker told People.

Newman was 50 when he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2006.
