The White House and its media allies launched a campaign under the guise of President Biden discrediting the former president Called Donald Trump’s supporters “trash” – going so far as to edit an official transcript of his comments to soften the blow.
The president’s trash-talking sent Democrats into damage-control mode Tuesday night, claiming Biden didn’t intend to tear down his political opponents.
“The President called the hateful rhetoric at the Madison Square Garden rally ‘trash,'” White House spokesman Andrew Bates said in a statement.
In the transcript of the speech, the White House also added an apostrophe to the 81-year-old’s ill-timed criticism less than five days before the 2024 election.
The transcript reads, “The only trash I see floating around out there is from his supporters – their demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it’s un-American.”

“Their demonization of Latinos is unconscionable. That’s all I meant,” the president claimed. “The comments at that rally do not reflect who we are as a nation.”
