There is a new “Big Brother” winner in the house.
Chelsea Baham, a 27-year-old nonprofit director, won “Big Brother 26” during the two-hour finale Sunday night. She took home the grand prize of $750,000.
Makensie Manbeck, a 22-year-old construction worker, finished second and won $75,000.
Physiotherapist Cam Sullivan-Brown, 25, came in third place.
Baham and Manbek faced each other in the third part of the final Head of Household competition, which Manbek won.
Manbach decided to take Baham with him to the final two and evict Sullivan-Brown, who became the seventh and final member of the jury.
during his interview with Host Julie Chen MoonvesSullivan-Brown said she was not surprised that she was evicted and that the girls “deserved” to reach the end together.
When asked if Manbach had made the right choice in who to leave out, he said: “I think it would be very difficult to sit next to Chelsea. But I respect his loyalty and decision.
He also confirmed that had he won the final HoH he would have taken the Bahamas to the final two.
“I was going to be with Chelsea the whole time. I love him very much. We have been together since the beginning. It was just a little game. A little trickery,” he explained.
Sullivan-Brown then joined the other six jurors – quinn martin, T’cor ClottiLeah Peters, angela murrayKimo Apaka and Rubina Bernabe – as they all questioned Baham and Manbek about their respective games to decide who to vote out.
Baham argued in his speech that he had “the power of my words” and convinced Manbach to take action against Martin and Peters. She also told jurors that she did not want to rely on competitions to stay safe.
“I was strategic. I was social. I was efficient,” she said.
Meanwhile, Manbach denied that Baham influenced his strategic decisions throughout the season. She also called herself a “competition animal” and said that because of her physical ability “she had a target on my back when I entered this house”.
Baham received all seven jury votes. When she came out of the house to welcome the rest of the cast, she started crying and was showered with confetti.
