Bill Maher says he may leave HBO show after Donald Trump’s election victory



Bill Maher is ready to admit defeat.

“I did Trump,” he said. “I talked about all the Trump-related things before anyone else. I called him a cheater in front of anyone. I did it. He is a mafia boss. I was the one who said that he would not contest the elections. I’ve done it.”

Fonda, 86, asked the comic why Trump isn’t actively “hostile” toward her, but toward Jimmy Kimmel.

“He is very hostile towards me. He tweets about me every week,” Maher claimed. “Every week he accidentally watches my show and then (writes), ‘Low rating, loser.’

Fonda then asked Maher to change lanes and choose a new topic to talk about on “Real Time with Bill Maher” instead of discussing Trump.

“The show is politics. There is nothing else, and he will dominate the news as always,” he replied.

He added, “Let’s see what happens.”
