He starred in “Ends With Us,” but his legal battle has just begun.
Blake Lively has filed an explosive lawsuit against co-star Justin Baldoni, alleging he sexually assaulted her on the set of their hit movie. TMZ reports.
According to legal documents, the actress accused Baldoni – who also served as the film’s director – of a “coordinated effort to destroy her reputation” following the film’s release.
The domestic violence drama “It End’s With Us,” based on the best-selling book by Colleen Hoover, was released in theaters last summer.
At the time, there were rumors of a feud between Lively and Baldoni, who refused to come together to promote the film.
Lively also faced bad publicity and was labeled a “mean girl” after a journalist claimed that an uncomfortable interview with the star caused her to leave her city.
Baldoni’s attorney, Brian Friedman, has criticized Lively’s new lawsuit, saying it is an attempt to “fix her negative reputation”, adding that the claims are “false, defamatory, and intentionally made public.” are “cowardly” with intent to cause hurt.
She said she was a ‘nightmare’ on set.
However, according to TMZ, which obtained the documents, Lively alleges that it was Baldoni who made things unstable while filming the drama.
She alleges that “things got so bad during filming, a meeting was held to discuss what she claims was a hostile work environment.”
Her superstar husband Ryan Reynolds attended that meeting.
