A body was found inside one of the two mud-covered vehicles pulled from the Cooper River in New Jersey.
The unidentified remains were discovered when the cars were yanked up near Cooper River Park in Pennsauken around 3 p.m. on Thursday, CBS reported.
The vehicles appeared to be completely covered in mud, but it was not immediately clear how long the cars had been in the river nor how they first got there, the report noted.
Teams dressed in white jumpsuits swarmed around both models, while tents appeared to obscure most of the possible evidence.
The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office in investigating the find, CBS said.
