Brianna “Chickenfree” LaPaglia is opening up about her relationship with ex-boyfriend Zac Bryan for the first time since their breakup last month.
The Barstool Sports personality claimed the 28-year-old became angry after she sang a song featuring another country superstar – Morgan Wallen.
“One morning, I woke up — or I was, like, scrolling TikTok — and ‘Last Night We Talked About Wine’ got stuck in my head,” LaPaglia recalled during Thursday’s episode. “BFF” PodcastQuoting lyrics from Wallen’s hit “Last Night”.
“I walk up the stairs in my New York apartment, and I’m singing — like, I’m about to make breakfast or something — ‘Last Night We Let the Wine Do the Talking.’ He freaked the f—k out. Like, couldn’t believe (it),” the podcast host continued.
LaPaglia alleged that the “Something in the Orange” artist angrily told her, “You’re singing another man’s song under my roof, in this house of mine.”
According to the influencer, the incident led to a fight between the couple for “a week.”
LaPaglia also shared that she “wasn’t really allowed to listen to Noah Kahn” while dating Brianna, who reportedly felt she liked the “Stick Season” singer “too much.”
She told co-hosts Dave Portnoy and Josh Richard that “the last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with this man’s abuse.”
“I’m still scared because I’m afraid of him,” LaPaglia admitted. “I’m crazy and I’m scared of making her mad and last week, I didn’t want to talk about it because I was scared.”
Delving deeper into the alleged abuse, she said she was in a constant cycle of “pick you up, beat you up, apologize again and again.”
“There was always another excuse as to why he was treating me so poorly and why I was crying myself to sleep every night,” LaPaglia said. “Why is he yelling at me and then you wake up, it’s this apology, it’s ‘I’m going to be better like I need you in my life,’ but if you’ve come through it — that’s what I expect from people. Doesn’t help if you haven’t gone through it to understand emotional abuse. I hope you never have to go through it, but if you’ve been there you know what I’m talking about.
LaPaglia claimed that Bryan made the women sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) preventing them from publicly discussing their experiences with him.
She alleged that the country singer’s team offered her $12 million along with a New York apartment to “not talk about the relationship.”
“It got to the point that I am not the same people as before, and I was someone before you, and you made the women before me believe that they had no choice but to take money from you, sign off on their experiences, sign There is no other option. What they went through,” LaPaglia revealed.
“You have to go on stage and sing your little songs like you’re a nice person. You have to treat the people around you like s–t. Sorry, that’s not me. I don’t want your money; I don’t want to buy a King House in two years and think, ‘Oh, this is money from a guy who literally destroyed me and left me broke for a year.’ ,
The Post has contacted Bryan’s rep for comment.
LaPaglia and Bryan began dating two months after meeting at the Academy of Country Music Awards in May 2023. Bryan confirmed their separation on Instagram on October 22 and asked fans to give them both privacy.
LaPaglia said she felt “blindsided” that she publicly disclosed their split, writing on Instagram Stories that she planned to “stay away from social media for a while and try to heal privately , I’ll be back when I’m ready and ready to talk.” ,
