Burger King announced that it’s returning the cult favorite BK Melt sandwich to the menu — for a limited time only, though, starting next week.
The three sandwiches, made with two Whopper Jr. patties and pressed between sauce-slathered toasted bread, come in three flavors: a mushroom and Swiss blend, a bacon and American flavor, and a classic burger combo.
The fan favorite will go on sale nationwide on December 19 for $4.99 each. reported today,
The BK melt first began in 2022 and has reappeared sporadically over the past two years. The company said this latest revival will last while supplies last.
Some fans online praised the melts, calling them the best thing since sliced bread.
“I must admit that Burger King’s classic melt is a hit,” A Reddit user posted,
“I like the only burger there. They really make it fresh,” another replied in the comments.
Due to high demand, BK is also returning its smaller Churro Fries, which were released in October and come in 4, 8 and 12 pieces.
