Media Take Out has learned that Cardi B gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl yesterday. We're told her husband, Offset, was by her side.
According to a solid insider, Cardi is currently in New York City – resting inside an exclusive private delivery room at a top hospital in Manhattan. Her husband Offset is by her side, recovering from the birth.
“Cardi gave birth yesterday. Offset was with her and so was her sister and other family members,” the insider told Media Take Out.
And according to the insider, even though Offset and Cardi are going through a divorce — they were totally united during the baby's birth.
“Offset helped her get through it, and he’s been with her ever since.” [and the new child] In the suite. I think they will get back together eventually.”
Cardi B announced her split with Offset a few months ago after rumors of Offset's out-of-control gambling and financial woes began making headlines.
At the time, Media Take Out was told that Cardi had filed for divorce — because she didn't want to be tied to Offset's potential financial ruin.
Cardi announced the separation on social media, writing, “With every ending there is a new beginning!” “I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have given me more love, more life and most of all renewed my strength! Reminded me that I can have it all! You reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love and my passion!”
She added, “I love you so much and can't wait to see what you help me do, what you inspire me to do! It's so easy to get discouraged by life's ups and downs and challenges, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it's important to keep moving forward!”
