A group of Australian schoolgirls have gone viral after they invaded a McDonald’s dressed as Ronald McDonald, causing complete mayhem.
A video showing the dirty day prank carried out by Sacre Coeur students in Glen Iris, Victoria has been viewed millions of times. Shared them on TikTok.
At least 100 girls wore the iconic yellow and red dresses with red curly wigs, before descending on their local “Golden Arches” as part of the annual finale of school festival.
Girls from a Catholic school can be seen running into the fast-food joint in one clip, which has been viewed almost 40 million times, while CCTV filmed inside the restaurant shows how students fled through the front entrance. The space right up to the counter has been completely taken over. ,
At the event, some of the girls went behind the counter to pose for photos, while others were filmed interacting with McDonald’s staff members.
“I just know the workers were done,” one user commented, prompting the student behind the viral clip to say: “No, they loved us.”
The overwhelming reaction to the mess day prank was one of disbelief, with many people expressing disbelief at the magnitude of the stunt in the comments section.
“How did you get so many people to agree on this?” One asked.
“That’s my question, how do you get so many people on board?” Pressed the other one.
As one said: “It would have triggered my claustrophobia.”
Many thought the prank was “hilarious”, arguing that McDonald’s employees would certainly have liked it.
“The jump killed me,” one commented.
Another shared, “I like the fact that they are less respectful about it and don’t trample to get inside the work area.”
While one argued: “No because honestly as long as nothing goes wrong and you all don’t go too wild I would love it.”
“As a McDonald’s employee, I guarantee they talked about you all for the next hour after this, and you probably made their day,” someone else claimed.
With a history of messy days turning into chaos, schools are now trying to make the annual student tradition more respectable.
Sadly, things are still out of control, with last year a teenager left “seriously injured” in a prank that went horribly wrong.
The 17-year-old boy was hit by a car as a number of Oakhill College students gathered on First Farm Drive in Castle Hill to throw water balloons.
As a result, schools are now trying to keep kids on campus to avoid accidents and suspensions.
