Chelsea Handler has the hots for Robert De Niro.
“I’m very sexually attracted to Robert De Niro. I’m not gonna pretend that I’m not,” Chelsea Handler told Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday.
The comedian, 49, and De Niro, 80, both appeared on Tuesday’s episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” which reignited Handler’s love for the “Meet the Parents” actor.
While being interviewed by Fallon, 49, Handler admitted that she was too shy to approach De Niro in-person at the studio.
“I couldn’t even go near him backstage because his girlfriend’s back there, and I don’t want her to think that I’m making a move — but I want to make a move,” Handler said.
De Niro is dating Tiffany Chen, 45, and they have a 1-year-old daughter named Gia Virginia Chen-De Niro. Gia is De Niro’s 7th child.
“I have a penchant for elderly men,” Handler further explained to Fallon. “I always date older. At some point I’ll have to stop, you know, because it’s going to get too old. But I feel sexually attracted to Robert De Niro. I always have. And I would like to be penetrated by him.”
The audience laughed over Handler’s absurd remarks as Fallon, who was also amused by her antics, tried to move onto a new topic.
“I’m gonna change the subject,” he said with a laugh, before asking Handler about her new puppy and comedy tour.
De Niro did his own interview with Fallon that seemingly taped before Handler’s appearance, so Fallon couldn’t ask him about Handler’s comments.
Handler appears to be single at the moment. Her last public relationship was with fellow comedian Jo Koy.
The exes had known each other for nearly 20 years before they started dating in the summer of 2021.
Koy, 52, frequently appeared as a guest on Handler’s E! late-night show “Chelsea Lately,” which ran from 2007 to 2014.
“One day, I just looked at him and I thought, ‘Oh, that’s my guy!’” Handler told Fallon in October 2021. “So, he’s like my best buddy, and then I also, you know, get to have sex with him. … Fun time!”
Handler announced their split in July 2022, writing in a statement to fans, “It is with a heavy heart to announce that we have decided together that it is best for us to take a break from our relationship right now.”
“I know many of you were invested in our love, and I wanted to express to you how much that meant to both of us. How much it still means. And how much I now believe in love for each of us,” she added.
In August 2022, Koy told “Entertainment Tonight” that the pair were “great friends and that’s how it will always be,” but on Brooke Shields’ “Now What?” podcast four months later, Handler revealed they hadn’t spoken in a while.
“There has to be some accountability … from him about what happened because it was just ridiculous, and I don’t think we can have a friendship until there’s some accountability and some responsibility taken,” she said.
