Cher left no doubt during her performance that It’s a Woman’s World The 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Tuesday.
The 78-year-old legendary singer took a step back in time to bring back the spirit of the VS Fashion Show that inspired her as she led the show’s first all-female musical series, which also included blackpink’s lisa and tyla,
Taking center stage on the Victoria’s Secret runway in New York, Cher performed a live performance of two of her biggest hits, “Strong Enough” and “Believe”.
The Oscar winner received an introduction befitting an icon, with the catwalk darkened as images of Cher from multiple eras filled the giant screen behind the runway.
The singer opened with “Strong Enough” wearing shiny black cargo pants and a black jacket with a shiny corset.
At the final concert of the night, Cher got the crowd excited and even model Adriana Lima lip-syncing as she walked the runway.

Cher was polite on the VS pink carpet before the show.

When Cher was asked what part of the show she was most excited about, she said, “I’m really most excited about all the women, that it’s just women, and they’re great.”
Talking about the models on the show, the singer shared, “I met all of them and we had a great time over the last few days. and i’m really proud of it [and] Proud that women are finally being able in many ways – not all ways, but in some ways – to find their own destiny.’
As far as his looks are concerned, his performance was below the expectations of the audience. “It’s not much,” he said. “It’s no big deal.”
Victoria’s Secret revealed in an Instagram post on September 17 that Cher would be the headliner of the fashion show.
