As WWE founder’s wife vince mcmahonLinda has been involved in the wrestling entertainment product for decades, much like Trump himself.
He also led the WWE organization as CEO.
The new executive branch cabinet member was also the recipient of violent wrestling moves during WWE events decades ago.
Since the announcement of his appointment, clips criticizing McMahon have resurfaced on social media.
In one incident, glen thomas jacobsAlso known as “Kane”, hit the new Secretary of Education with a Tombstone Piledriver on an episode of “Monday Night Raw” in the early 2000s, apparently knocking her unconscious.
In one of WWE’s most infamous sagas of that era, he was featured in a series of skits that saw him beat up his children, Stephanie and Shane McMahon.
Some of those skits were retaliated by his children.
McMahon served on the Connecticut Board of Education for one year, beginning in 2009.
He told MPs at the time that he had a lifelong interest in education and had once planned to become a teacher.

She attempted to run for Senate twice as a Connecticut Republican, losing to Richard Blumenthal in the 2010 race and to Chris Murphy in the 2012 race.
McMahon provided $6 million to help Trump’s candidacy after he secured the Republican presidential nomination in 2016.
Served as McMahon Administrator of Small Business Administration Under Trump’s first term from 2017 to 2019.
When he resigned, he wrote that the role had been “extremely rewarding”.
When McMahon was selected for that role, he was praised by Blumenthal and Murphy, two Connecticut Democrats who had defeated him in Senate campaigns.
Blumenthal called her “a person of profound accomplishment and potential”, while Murphy said she was a “brilliant and experienced businesswoman”.
McMahon then chaired America First Action, a super PAC that supported Trump’s re-election campaign in 2020.
After Trump lost to Biden, McMahon helped launch the America First Policy Institute to continue advocating for Trump’s agenda and prepare for a possible return to the White House.
When Trump ran for president this year, McMahon was co-chair of his transition team with Howard Lutnick, chief executive of financial services company Cantor Fitzgerald.
As part of that role, McMahon is helping plan Trump’s new administration.
