Coldplay frontman Chris Martin fatally fell through a trapdoor during the band’s Australia concert on Sunday.
The 47-year-old “Paradise” hitmaker stumbled while speaking to a crowd of 50,000 at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium during his international “Music of the Spheres” world tour.

After the fall, a loud gasping sound came from the crowd.
Moments later, a crew member who was standing inside the gap helped the “Fix You” singer, who was wearing a blue T-shirt and black cargo pants, back onto the stage.
“This, uh, is not planned, thanks for catching me,” Martin told the employee into his mic. “Thanks, guys, holy s–t.”
Luckily, the father of two escaped any injuries from the fall.
Instead, he poked fun at himself, saying the ordeal would “probably be a YouTube moment.”
Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres” tour continues in the Southern Hemisphere as the band is set to visit Sydney before a stop in New Zealand.
The band is touring and scheduled to play through March 2022 By September 2025,
