Complaints by US air travelers soared last year — with this being the most common gripe: data



Federal Transportation Department data show U.S. air passenger complaints rose 12% last year.

According to the annual report, there were 96,853 “presentations” from passengers in 2023, up from 86,240 in 2022, the most since 2020. Air Travel Consumer Reports,

The highest number of complaints in 2023 were about disability-related issues, with 2,685 complaints from passengers, a 28% increase over the previous year.
